What we do...

Addstaff was created by Jane and Kim in November 1999 when we saw a need for an employment agency in Queenstown. Our strengths lie in the fact that we understand that Queenstown is a town like no other, with its seasonal nature, high staff turnover and transient community. Furthermore, the bulk of our work experience has been earned in Queenstown and other communities like it around the world - having been both employers and employees, it has been easy for us to understand (and meet) the needs of both parties.

Our goal is for Addstaff to be the number one destination for job seekers, working from an environment that is friendly, welcoming and above all, helpful.

At Addstaff we offer a wide range of temporary employment, generally within the hospitality industry but, being such a diverse town, there's also opportunities for other positions such as (but not limited to) labouring, administration, cheffing and front line roles. These assignments can last from one day to one year, and anything in between. We also offer more permanent positions for those looking to make Queenstown their home. As part of our service, we will assist you in opening a bank account and applying for your IRD number and, we are always happy to be your sounding board, a shoulder to cry on and an extensive source of information, advice and support.

Who are we?

Jane Bamford
Jane has lived in Queenstown since 1999. Previous to Addstaff she has worked as a Employee Experience Officer for Whistler/Blackcomb in Canada, helping to recruit over 4500 paid and volunteer staff. She has also worked for agencies in London and Australia and has completed a Bachelor of Business degree in Brisbane, Australia.

Kim Hamilton
Kim has worked in a number of employment agencies throughout her career both in Australia & London and has been living in Queenstown since 1996. She was employed for a number of seasons by nzski.com and was partly responsible for the recruitment & training of the Guest Service department as well as a registered Work Place Assessor.

Sam Hook
Our English addition to the team, Sam joined our team in October 2009, as our permanent recruitment specialist. Sam has come to NZ after spend time in Australia and South East Asia but landed on our shore to follow her love of the outdoors. Sam's actual background is within Health and Beauty and most recently was working as a Salon / Spa Manager in Buckinghamshire, UK. Her role with Addstaff encompasses her love of customer service, management and organising. Sam has now settled here in Queenstown permanently and is looking forward to helping you with all your staffing needs.
